Evaluation
System
A well-planned system of continuous and comprehensive evaluation for classes I to V in primary schools of the state have been worked out. This exercise was intended to promote necessary environment in the classrooms leading to improvement of process related task in the classroom and homework, remedial teaching based on feedback from monthly tests with periodic assessment of student’s achievement. According to our policy, evaluation is to be carried out not only in cognitive areas but also in non-cognitive domains. It has been viewed as an exercise to ensure eventually an all-round development of the personality of the child.The parents and community have also been involved in the evaluation |
